So Forgetful…

Today was a busy day. I had two customers, and the people who wired up the cabling in our house came over as well. I’m finally feeling a bit better, although my nose is sometimes clogged still. Amy caught the same thing I have, but her symptoms aren’t as bad.

So… at the first customer (who was way down I-10 in Vail), I leave my bluetooth headset. I realize this about as I’m getting back to work, a 30 minute drive away… arghhh. She calls me later when I’m at the second customer and says that she has it, and that her son-in-law will bring it into town, and that he lives on the way home from where I have to drive! Yes!

So I get done with my customers (who was having the font problem from h-e-double hockey sticks, which I think I finally fixed), and I call him. He’s a ways out, so I end up spending about a half an hour in a Hallmark store looking at cards, as Christmas and my parent’s birthdays are coming up.

Do you know they have divorce cards?! The one I saw said basically “You’re getting divorced? What are you going to do with the 3 hours you spend repeating yourself each day?”. *sigh*

So, I get the headset back and drive home. And here I am.

I still have a bit to do before tomorrow, like clean the house for everyone coming over for the game night. It never ends. On the upside, business is going well, and Amy got her first paycheck from the new job she got at the Oro Valley Library, and she likes that job better than the more boring job she had before.

OK, off to play with el gato, and relax.
