I am not “Josh”

I think there’s some sort of conspiracy - people call me “Josh” all the time, and I have no idea why this happens.

Customers, non-immediate relations, random people I meet…

Amy just got a birthday card addressed to “Amy and Josh”.

Why “Josh”? Is there something about that name that makes people apply it to me?

Why is it ALWAYS “Josh”, and not “Steve” or “Greg”?

Do I look like a Josh? Are there other computer people named Josh out there?

Do I transmit secret “Josh waves” that make people think that’s my name?

It’s a mystery to me…
